Yoversion are extremely excited to be releasing this amazing EP from North London based Anthony Atcherley. It would be hard to be genre specific with this Disco, Soulful and Electro house influenced collection, so we would just like to categorize it as just incredible music.

The lead track takes us on a Balearic disco influenced journey which we felt would be further complimented by a lead vocal, so step up a certain Mr Jamie Lewis, who delivers an inspiring and full of feeling performance that transforms a great track into a brilliant song. Its almost timeless with subtle piano chords that ripple with sunshine and synths that layer late on to devastating effect that propel the track into epic proportions. Already supported by Roog (Hardsoul), Mark Doyle (Fierce Angels), Andy Ward (Soul Central) Severino Panzetta (HorseMeat Disco) and Warren Clarke to name a few ‘Why Do You Cry’ is starting to make big waves indeed

The EP has a reflective side concerning its next two tracks, both have a real electro disco vibe with ‘Six’ rolling along with a funky space age kinda hook that the Nu Disco scene is really embracing at he moment. Following that ‘Even’ comes at you on a much more emotional tip, almost verging on classic 80’s electronica to devastating effect.

Anthony’s musical interests started at a very early age being influenced by such artists as Kraftwerk and various 80’s electro artists. His foray into musical production began in the late 1990’s with a degree of success with co-writing the trance anthem Ariel –A9.

More recently his production style has engaged with his affinity for French and Electro House citing influences such as Daft Punk, Alan Braxe and Mr Oizo. After catching the eye of Kris Menace, this lead to the opportunity to co-produce ‘A Love Song for Those Who Love Songs’ for his Compuphonic Label. Anthony is also making waves with a number of irresistible modern electronic re-edits that are a staple part of many a headline set across the globe.

It seems there is a wave of heat coming from Anthony at the moment and Yoversion are proud to be able to showcase and incredible talent and welcome him as part of our family.
